Latest FOB Export Cashew Prices: Market Trends & Fluctuations

Vietnam has maintained its strong position in global cashew exports, and its FOB (Free on Board) prices continue to reflect shifting market dynamics. As of February 2025, exporters are seeing price adjustments influenced by demand trends, supply volumes, and global shipping costs.

Updated FOB Export Cashew Prices (February 2025):

  • WW320 Cashew Kernels: $5,950 – $6,200/MT
  • WW240 Cashew Kernels: $6,300 – $6,500/MT
  • Organic Cashew Kernels: $6,500 – $6,800/MT
  • Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN): $1,250 – $1,450/MT

Prices remain firm due to steady demand from the U.S., EU, and China. Particularly, the U.S. market recorded over $1 billion in cashew imports from Vietnam in 2024, up 31.6% YoY.

Key Market Drivers:

  • Strong U.S. & EU Demand: Buyers prefer premium and organic products.
  • Raw Material Constraints: Reduced harvests in Africa have affected global supply.
  • Logistics Trends: Declining freight rates help stabilize export prices.
  • Exchange Rate Stability: The strong USD supports consistent pricing.

Market Outlook for 2025:

The global cashew market is projected to grow steadily, from $7.78 billion in 2024 to $8.14 billion in 2025, with a CAGR of 4.6% toward 2033. Vietnam is expected to benefit from diversified products, value-added SKUs, and robust supply chains.

Vietnamese exporters must continue to monitor price shifts and global trends to optimize FOB pricing strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
